Load Lists

CONFIGURING SCRIPTLOADLIST.XML AND SERVICELOADLIST.XML

These files ship with the latest release of Instant Queue Manager V4. These files contain references to the Domino based databases which hold the Queue and Interview configurations. It allows the IQM engine to load Queue (both broadcast & Monitoring) and Interview configurations and run them.
 
ServiceLoadList.xml contains the URL which points to the server with all the Interview definitions.
ScriptLoadList.xml contains the URL which points to the server with all the Monitored Queue definitions.
 
The contents of ServiceLoadList.xml look like the following snippet:
 
<Load>
<NodeType>ServicePath</NodeType>
<AppName/>
<LoadUrl>http://st85.instant-tech.com/itqconnect.nsf/agGenerateInterviewServiceLoad?OpenAgent&amp;Key=All</LoadUrl>
<LoadUsername>User present in database ACL</LoadUsername>
<LoadPassword>password</LoadPassword>
</Load>
 
You will need to change the "st85.instant-tech.com" to your own server's value.  The remainder of the URL should remain unchanged. 
NOTE:  If during the Lotus Notes database installation you selected a different name for the database, you will also have to change the "itqconnect.nsf" in the <LoadUrl> parameter to the name you used.
 You will also need to provide the username and password for a userid in the database that is in the ACL so that the Service Load List function can open the database and retrieve the definitions.  Change the "User present in database ACL" with the userid, and change the "password" to the actual password assigned to the id.

Steps for pointing the IQMV4 engine to multiple databases

  1. Go to the folder location <<Apache Tomcat Install Folder>>\Tomcat 6.0\webapps\ITFramework on the system running Apache Tomcat 6.0 server
  2. Open "ScriptLoadList.xml" in any text editor
  3. Add the following block of text (replace the highlighted text with the correct path to the IQM configuration database)
    <Load>
      <NodeType>ServicePath</NodeType>
      <AppName/>
      <LoadUrl>
http://dominoserver.com/iqconnect.nsf/agGenerateJavaQueueServiceList?OpenAgent&amp;Key=Watched</LoadUrl>
  <LoadUsername>User having access to the database</LoadUsername>
  <LoadPassword>password for the username specified above</LoadPassword>

  • Add the above block of text for each database
  • Save the file
  • Next open the file "ServiceLoadList.xml" in any text editor

  • Restart the Apache Tomcat Service from the system control panel
